The services include site setup, demolition of the exterior facilities including tree felling and clearing, construction of a temporary access road, hazardous material remediation, dismantling of the buildings technical equipment (plumbing, heating, electrical), clearing and removal of bulky waste, selective demolition of the superstructure, large-scale mechanical demolition, and disposal of all resulting materials, with the exception of conventional mineral construction debris. The contractor will transport all conventional mineral construction debris to the clients temporary storage area in Markt Bibart and unload it there. The contractors services for this type of construction debris end with the unloading. Sampling, collection, transport, and disposal from the interim storage facility will be contracted separately. The building contains hazardous materials, primarily asbestos-containing floor coverings and adhesives, asbestos-containing paper separating layers and fillers, asbestos cement components, insulation made of old artificial mineral wool in floors, walls, ceilings, and around pipes, as well as tar-containing cork insulation, adhesives, and sealants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). Hazardous material remediation must be carried out in accordance with the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances TRGS 519, TRGS 521, TRGS 524, and TRGS 551. Work on loosely bound asbestos products may only be carried out by companies that have official authorization under the Hazardous Substances Ordinance. The contractor will provide all services, including hazardous material remediation.
