The Montessori Bamberg e.V. in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for The scope of the project involves the conversion, renovation, and expansion of the former Dr. Pfleger company administration building in Hallstadt for use as a Montessori school. As part of the construction work, the existing ventilation systems will be completely dismantled and rebuilt according to the requirements of the future use. The buildings ventilation is primarily based on natural window ventilation. Exceptions to this are certain areas that, due to their use or structural conditions, will be equipped with mechanical ventilation systems. A compact unit for supply and exhaust air will be installed for the central section on the upper floor, which houses the distribution kitchen. Another compact unit will be installed for the ground floor of the central section and parts of the basement. Supply air in the ground and upper floors of the central section will be introduced into the rooms via perforated radiant ceiling panels. All restrooms will be ventilated by individual room fans with exhaust air ducting through the roof. The required supply air is generally introduced through the door. For restrooms with direct access to the stairwell, the supply air will instead be introduced through a side wall to prevent penetration of the fire compartment. For a section of the rooms in the basement of the central building where window ventilation is not possible, a duct fan will be installed to exhaust air via a light well. The required supply air will be provided by air transfer through the doors. The ventilation of the hazardous materials cabinets and the fume hood in the PCB rooms will be handled by a separate system. Supply air will be introduced through the exterior wall, and exhaust air will be vented through the roof. All electrical equipment rooms will be equipped with split air conditioning units; however, these systems are included in the heating system. with tender notice no. 712074-2026 published on 15 Oct 2026.
