Συγκεκριμένα, το αντικείμενο της σύμβασης υποδιαιρείται σε δύο (2) Τμήματα ως εξής: ΤΜΗΜΑ 1: «Παραχώρηση δικαιώματος αποκλειστικής εκμετάλλευσης δημόσιων τακτικών υπεραστικών μεταφορών επιβατών με λεωφορείο στην Περιφέρεια Ιονίων Νήσων», εκτιμώμενης αξίας 169.500.000,00 € πλέον ΦΠΑ [ήτοι, 16.950.000 € ετησίως, για δέκα (10) έτη] και ΤΜΗΜΑ 2: «Παραχώρηση δικαιώματος αποκλειστικής εκμετάλλευσης δημόσιων τακτικών αστικών μεταφορών επιβατών με λεωφορείο στην Περιφέρεια Ιονίων Νήσων», εκτιμώμενης αξίας 52.500.000,00 € πλέον ΦΠΑ [ήτοι, 5.250.000 € ετησίως, για δέκα (10) έτη] Η εκτιμώμενη αξία της σύμβασης, ανέρχεται συνολικά στο ποσό των 222.000.000,00 € μη συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ 13 % (εκτιμώμενη αξία συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ: € 250.860.000,00). Συμπεριλαμβανομένου δικαιώματος προαίρεσης, εφόσον ασκηθεί υπό τους όρους και τις προϋποθέσεις της παρ. 4 του άρθρου 4 του Κανονισμού (ΕΚ) 1370/2007, η εκτιμώμενη αξία της σύμβασης δύναται να ανέλθει στο ποσό των 333.000.000,00 € μη συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ 13 % (εκτιμώμενη αξία συμπεριλαμβανομένου ΦΠΑ: € 376.290.000,00). Η διάρκεια της σύμβασης ορίζεται σε δέκα (10) έτη για το κάθε Τμήμα, από την ημερομηνία έναρξης παροχής συγκοινωνιακού έργου όπως θα καθοριστεί στη σύμβαση, σύμφωνα με τα αναγραφόμενα στην παράγραφο 6.2 της παρούσας Διακήρυξης. Υπάρχει δυνατότητα παράτασης της διάρκειας της σύμβασης, κατά τη διακριτική ευχέρεια του αναθέτοντος φορέα, για έως πέντε (5) επιπλέον έτη αποκλειστικά υπό τους όρους και τις προϋποθέσεις της παραγράφου 4 του άρθρου 4 του κανονισμού (ΕΚ) 1370/2007 και σύμφωνα με τις Ανακοινώσεις 2014/C 92/01 και 2023/C 222/01 της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής σχετικά με ερμηνευτικές οδηγίες του κανονισμού (ΕΚ) 1370/2007.
