Collection – Transport – Processing – Utilization and Disposal of Bulk Municipal Solid Waste and Other Municipal Solid Waste of Thassos Municipality for the Years 2026 – 2:029

The Thasos Municipality in Greece from Europe region has released this tender for The tendered service relates to the collection of bulky and other non-hazardous urban solid waste, which is generally disposed of together with the bulky waste (primarily wooden, plastic and metal objects), within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Thasos, and which fall, according to the applicable legislation, under the Municipality of Thasos' waste management obligations, including the transportation and management of such waste in appropriate authorized facilities for the years 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029. The collection of waste by the contractor will be carried out at the points designated by the relevant Department of Sanitation, Recycling & Vehicle Management, where the contractor will install appropriate Pre-Seasonal Storage Containers (containers) for bulky and other non-hazardous urban solid waste, which is generally disposed of together with the bulky waste, with a minimum volume of 35 m3. The waste will be transported to the aforementioned collection points by the relevant Municipality of Thasos service, in accordance with the Sanitation, Recycling & Vehicle Management Department's collection program, and will be temporarily stored in the containers. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for delivering, at the time of container pickup, at least an equal number of containers with similar technical characteristics to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of the waste collection, transportation and temporary storage program by the Sanitation, Recycling & Vehicle Management Department of the Municipality of Thasos. The provision of the tendered service includes the collection, transportation and management of bulky and other non-hazardous urban solid waste, which is generally disposed of daily together with the bulky waste (primarily wooden, plastic and metal objects), generated within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Thasos, with the codes of the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) of the Decision No. 2014/955 of the European Parliament and Council of 18 December 2014 'on the amendment of Decision 2000/532/EC as regards the waste catalogue in accordance with Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and Council' and Annex II of the Decision No. 62952/5384/2016 (Official Gazette No. 4326 B) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, which are presented in the study dated 16-09-2026 prepared by the Municipality of Thasos services. with tender notice no. 678357-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
