The project is divided into two distinct sub-projects that include the following objects: SECTION 1 Digitization and Documentation of Archival Material Action 1.1: Digitization of Archival Material Action 1.2: Documentation of Archival Material Action 1.3: Digital Library Action 1.4: Procurement of equipment SECTION 2 Digital Service for Electronic Tenders and Other Services Action 2.1: Electronic Tendering Service for Technical Works, Materials and Services Action 2.2: Digital Platform for Environmental Responsibility Action 2.3: Study Archiving Software The first SECTION aims at the digitization and documentation of the collective wealth of books, as well as the development of a comprehensive digital library software. This initiative aims to preserve, make accessible and promote the scientific archive of the TEE - Department of Central Macedonia through technology. The subproject includes the purchase and installation of the necessary equipment and software, the training of staff in the use of the new systems, as well as the development and maintenance of the digital library. In addition, the digitization and documentation of books is planned, as well as the promotion and information of members of the TEE - Central Macedonia Department regarding the new digital infrastructure. At the digitization level, systematic digitization of the material will be carried out, ensuring high image quality and accuracy in the conversion of physical books into digital format, while the books will be documented so that they can be characterized with metadata, including information such as title, author, subject. unit and other related features. The software will include functions such as user creation or login with Taxisnet codes, maintaining browsing history, searching and indexing using metadata, downloading recommended books, the ability to download specific books locally in PDF format and remote interface for remote browsing and reading digitized books. The project's objectives are to protect and preserve important bibliographic works through digitization, to ensure that digitized resources are easily accessible to a wide audience, to provide tools and resources that will enhance academic research and the educational process, and finally to strengthening the organization's technological infrastructure, promoting innovation and efficiency in the management of digital resources. The second Department includes three different tools that enhance the digital transformation of the TEE - Department of Central Macedonia by improving services to the internal environment and to its members. The first tool concerns the development of software entitled "Digital Service for Electronic Tenders - Technical Works - Materials and Services", which concerns a digital service for electronic tenders for private projects which it will be able to offer to its members, as well as to the broader ecosystem of technical works and of the construction industry in Greece. This electronic service will be a system for conducting tenders for private projects which can offer not only optimization of the cost list of technical projects, but also effective transparency. The second tool is entitled "Digital Environmental Responsibility Platform" and aims to support the chamber in adopting sustainable practices and complying with global environmental responsibility standards. At the same time, within the framework of the platform, a relevant register of Businesses that operate in the geographical area of ​​the chamber and implement Environmental responsibility policies will be created.
