2. Scope of Works
The Scope of Works comprises of design, supply, delivery and installation of Automatic Coil Spring Handling System which handles multiple types of railway coil spring sets. The system includes the following key features:
a) Handle and transport coil spring sets to different working stations automatically;
b) Paint of serial number and data matrix on the surface of coil spring and/or its components automatically; and
c) Conduct stiffness test, compressed length measurement of coil spring and serial number registration.
The system shall allow users to choose the type of coil spring through Human Machine Interface (HMI) and provide alert if incorrect fixtures are loaded. Pallets shall be provided for storage of 64 sets of coil springs and components to be loaded to the system. Factory acceptance test and site acceptance test will be conducted to prove the performance of the system.
4. Expressions of Interest
To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 2:00 p.m. on 1 September 2023 (Hong Kong Time) via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System. Late applications shall not be considered.
