The National Blood Service in Hungary from Europe region had released this tender for Procurement of test kits and accessories for high-resolution HLA type determination related to the Oxford Nanopore Technology Next Generation Sequencing (ONT-NGS) method for HLA loci (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DRB1, HLA-DRB3, HLA-DRB4, HLA-DRB5, HLA-DQB1, HLA-DQA1, HLA-DPB1, HLA-DPA1), as well as analyzers, software and hardware validated for the tests. (PCR device and fluorimeter do not need to be offered, they are available in the OVSz laboratory.) Quantity of test kits to be purchased for the entire contract period (24 months): a.) Test kits: Test kits for the simultaneous determination of 11 different HLA loci (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C, HLA-DRB1, HLA-DRB3, HLA-DRB4, HLA-DRB5, HLA-DQB1 HLA-DQA1 and HLA-DPB1, HLA-DPA1) of 2,500 samples using the high-resolution ONT-NGS method. By test kit, the contracting authority means the test, other reagents and the necessary additional auxiliary materials required for the examination of a blood sample. The other reagents and additional auxiliary materials required are as follows (in some cases, these may be part of the test kit): • PCR components suitable for the simultaneous amplification of 11 HLA loci, • Reagent suitable for fluorimetric control of the quantity and/or quality of the amplified product, • Reagents suitable for purification of the amplified product, • Components required for analysis on the MinIon device, • Flow Cell, in a quantity that allows the 2500 samples to be measured simultaneously with an average of 12 samples, • Wash kit required for further use of the Flow Cell, to stop the reaction. b.) Analyzer: • The bidder must offer 2 analyzers, i.e. 2 sequencers for use. • A magnetic stand in the quantity required for performing 2 parallel tests should be offered as an additional item, if recommended in the test kit description. c.) Software / hardware: • The bidder must offer enough analyzing computers and running software to analyze 2 measurements (2 flow cells) in parallel at the same time.
