The Szentendre City Municipality in Hungary from Europe region has released this tender for Szentendre Város Önkormányzat has decided to modernize the public lighting network, as the number of compact fluorescent lamps and sodium lamps in the city is significant, and their production has been halted, making them difficult to procure soon, and achieving energy efficiency goals also makes modernizing the public lighting network necessary. The third goal of modernization is to increase the service quality and ensure environmental protection considerations. The principle of the modernization is that the costs of the modernization project, including implementation, will be financed by the winning bidder, and the compensation for these costs will come from the verified energy savings resulting from the modernization. The sale of HEM (Verified Energy Savings), or the Energy Efficiency Obligation (EKR) related to the measures, will be assigned to the winning bidder in accordance with the relevant laws. Main tasks of the winning bidder: - Preparation of construction plans, which must be approved by the client and presented to the representative body, taking into account the existing presentation and tender plans; - Execution of necessary authorization and approval procedures; - Implementation of the modernization of the public lighting system, carried out in phases while continuously maintaining traffic safety; - Operation and maintenance of the newly established public lighting system; - Implementation of the energy efficiency obligations (EKR) related to the measures; - Provision of electricity supply for public lighting. with tender notice no. 720866-2026 published on 19 Oct 2026.
