SPARK is looking for a Legal Consultant in Kurdistan Region of Iraq to for legal and tax matters with Kurdistan Region governmental departments. In addition to providing legal advice, legal services, and information. SPARK contracts a legal Consultant in Kurdistan Region on a daily basis.
Deliverables
• Updating the Administrative Order for the KRI administration in DNGO. SPARK supports the legal representation by providing all relevant documents, including reports, documents, delegation letters, and so on.
• Providing advice on the KRI/Iraqi Labor regulations and other effective rules and regulations in Iraq.
• Establish and maintain strong communication with the government departments such as, but not limited to, the DNGO in KR-I, tax directorates, accounting syndicates, and so on.
• Conducting with integrity, honesty, quality, responsibility, and within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Any further legal services that are required
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in law.
• Member of the Kurdistan Bar Association.
• At least 2-4 years of legal experience.
• Experience working in an NGO or in the humanitarian/development sector.
Payment
Payment will be made monthly based on the legal consultant's invoice, timesheet for daily and hourly services, and service supporting documents "the supporting documents are applicable based on the type of services."
