Tender Description
The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) is a division of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform and is tasked with delivering the Government’s Public Service ICT Strategy. The OGCIO has a wide-ranging remit in addition to delivery of the Government Public Service ICT Strategy the OGCIO is also responsible for providing ICT Services to a number of Government Departments, the private Government Network, Public Service ICT policy, approval of major ICT expenditure across the wider civil and public service, and engaging with the EU on its eGovernment Action Plan. An 18 Step Action Plan sets out a range of projects and programmes which will deliver the Public Service ICT Strategy including Build To Share (BTS) Infrastructure Initiatives. The Service Delivery Unit (SDU) in the OGCIO is responsible for delivering these central BTS Infrastructure initiatives and services to Government Departments and Public Service Bodies. The Service Delivery Unit (SDU) uses Pexip Infinity to facilitate Gateway access to diverse Conferencing Solutions. Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for the renewal of 50 concurrent user licences for 12 months.
