Demolition of Building No.6 at UNTSO Compound, Jerusalem

The UN Secretariat in Israel from Middle East region had released this tender for The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) intends to engage the services of a qualified contractor for the successful demolition of the existing 2-Storey Office Building (Building No. 6) at UNTSO compound, Jerusalem, in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, scope of work, general conditions, and other related documents The intent of this proposed project is to demolish existing Building No.6 as follows: a. Provide building perimeter enclosure with access gates for contractor’s equipment, deliveries and personnel. Such enclosure shall be handed over by the demolition contractor to UNTSO in good condition that is acceptable to UNTSO Engineering at the completion of its work. b. Professional dismantle and hand-over to UNTSO Engineering on “as it was” basis all existing utility fixtures not limited to air-conditioning units, lighting fixtures, electrical panel(s), toilet fixtures, fire alarm and smoke detection system, etc. c. Demolish the entire structure including its foundation and haul-out all debris and excavated materials so that the site will be ready for construction of a new building structure. d. Building demolition and disposal of demolished materials and debris shall satisfy the requirements of the applicable local codes and regulations and the applicable construction safety standards.
