FIRST AID & CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR)TRAINING COURSES

The tender was published by UN Secretariat on 28 Mar 2023 for The UNGSC seeks a qualified contractor for the establishment of a contract for the for the provision and delivery of First Aid & CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support Defibrillation for UNGSC staff, to be delivered in English and at the United Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi. The courses on First Aid & CPR shall be conducted by general practitioner eventually supported by other medical personnel in the practical part only. The courses on Basic Life Support Defibrillation BLSD shall be delivered by accredited Centres in the Apulia Region. The bidder will be required to deliver 3 different training courses throughout a one-year period. The Courses are illustrated as follows: Course #1 First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (12 hours) – for a maximum of 20 course delegates each session Course #2 First Aid & CPR Refresher Course (6 hours)- for a maximum of 20 course delegates each session Course #3 Basic Life Support Defibrillation BLS-D (5 hours) - for a maximum of 12 course delegates each session Subcontracting and split award is allowed for Basic Life Support Defibrillation (BLS-D) portion only. The training courses will be conducted in English and, if need be, translated by a fluent English speaker provided and paid for by the company. Handout material and manuals will be provided in English. Fluency level shall be a minimum B1 level. All participants who have successfully completed the training course (minimum requirement required is the attendance for the entire course), will be certified in compliance with the Italian, regional legislation and international guidelines, reference: - International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) recommendations; - Italian Ministerial Decree 388/2003; - Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008; - Italian Ministerial Decree 18/2011; - Resolutions of the Puglia Region nn. 1915/2019,1295/2018. This certification in English/Italian will be provided to the individual participant at the end of each course. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued..
