The services also include the start-up, implementation, operational support, and transition activities necessary to ensure the continuity and proper execution of the reporting process. Rai reserves the right to request, in whole or in part, the following "on-demand" services: a) reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to the programming of channels currently bearing the "Rai Italia" brand; b) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to content present on the "RaiPlay" platform; c) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to content present on the "RaiPlay Sound" platform; d) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to programs already broadcast in periods prior to the contractual term on generalist television and radio channels. In such cases, Rai will provide the Supplier with the opportunity to listen to and/or view the related recordings; e) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to programs already broadcast in periods prior to the contractual term on thematic, regional, and minority-language television and radio channels. In such cases, Rai will provide the Supplier with the opportunity to listen to and/or view the related recordings; f) processing and analysis relating to the representativeness of the Collectings with reference to specific channels,schedules and/or time periods; g) segmentation of television programming for the purpose of identifying the actual broadcast time of programs; h) segmentation of radio programming for the purpose of identifying the actual broadcast time of programs; i) completion and integration of Rai data relating to the Program Content Declarations (DCP); j) integration and reconciliation of the data collected by the Supplier with the information relating to musical uses contained in the Program Content Declarations (DCP) prepared by Rai. (ii) the execution of the services presupposes the use of a single operational methodology, a single recognition system and a single application integration between the Supplier's and the Client's systems, as well as the coordinated management of the Cue Sheets, the Black List, Rejects and Corrections, activities which present a high degree of technical and operational interdependence; (iii) any division into lots would require coordinating different economic operators, potentially equipped with different databases, recognition systems, classification criteria, and updating processes, with the resulting risk of information misalignments, duplication of activities, operational inefficiencies, and increased coordination and control costs; Tender Description
The services contracted consist of the recognition, identification, information completion and reporting of Musical Works and related recording media used in Rai radio and television programs and broadcasts, through the use of automatic recognition systems, specialized databases and validation and control activities, in order to allow the correct fulfillment of the obligations set forth in the applicable legislation and the licensing agreements with the Collectors. As part of the service, the Supplier shall, among other things: • acquire and monitor the audio/video flows and data required for reporting; • recognize and identify the Musical Works and related recording media using automatic recognition systems and the additional methodologies set forth in the Technical Specifications; • complete, verify and update the metadata required for reporting; • prepare, transmit and correct the Cue Sheets according to the established format; • manage the Black List, the Rejected Files and the cleanup and correction activities; • produce the reports and evidence requested by Rai for the purposes of checks and controls. The services also include the start-up, implementation, operational support, and transition activities necessary to ensure the continuity and proper execution of the reporting process. Rai reserves the right to request, in whole or in part, the following "on-demand" services: a) reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to the programming of channels currently bearing the "Rai Italia" brand; b) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to content present on the "RaiPlay" platform; c) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to content present on the "RaiPlay Sound" platform; d) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to programs already broadcast in periods prior to the contractual term on generalist television and radio channels. In such cases, Rai will provide the Supplier with the opportunity to listen to and/or view the related recordings; e) recognition and reporting of Musical Works and Media relating to programs already broadcast in periods prior to the contractual term on thematic, regional, and minority-language television and radio channels.
