The UN Secretariat in Italy from Europe region had released this tender for The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified contractor to
establish a contract for the provision of cleaning and disposal services of water supply systems, sewage systems, and septic tanks, including rental of portable toilets at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi - Italy.
The UNGSC comprises approximately 7,000.00 linear meters of sewage pipelines and sewage meteoric waters, with approximately 300 sewage manholes and 8 septic tanks.
The requested services shall include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Site inspection and provision of technical advice.
- Emptying of biological tanks.
- Unclogging of pipeline (hydro/mechanical).
- Cleaning of sewage manhole (manual/mechanical).
- Cleaning of sewage pipeline (hydro/mechanical).
- Inspection of water/sewage line with ad-hoc camera to determine leaks or obstructions.
- Provision and distribution of Water in tanks (minimum 3 M³).
- Standard Chemical analysis of drinkable water.
- Chemical analysis of drinkable water for "Legionella" bacteria.
- Standard Chemical analysis of waste.
- Water Chlorination of lines.
- Male/Female (2 modules) portable chemical toilets with sink.
- Double Male/Female (4 modules) portable chemical toilets with sink.
- Male/Female/Disable (3 modules) portable chemical toilets with sink.
- Replenishment service of consumables for portable chemical toilets.
- Emptying service for each module of portable chemical toilets.
- "Emergency Call-out"" Charges per single person/equipment.
The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of three (3) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1).
Full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI.
