This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. IDB452-04/19 of 26 April 2019. 2. The Government of Jamaica through the Ministry of Health and Wellness has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), toward the cost of the Support for The Health System Strengthening for The Prevention And Care Management Of Non-Communicable Disease Programme, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Medical Carts. 3. The Ministry of Health and Wellness now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of mobile Medical Carts which will complement end user workstations and facilitate movement and usability of devices procured pursuant to the upgrade of the ICT infrastructure of health facilities across Jamaica. 4. Bidders must have the capacity to supply: Powered Mobile Computer Carts/PC Carts, Non-powered Mobile Laptop Carts, Powered Mobile Computer Carts (Operating Room Carts), and 24” Medical All in One PC with all the detailed specifications provided. 5. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the InterAmerican Development Bank (http://condc05.iadb.org/idbppis?pLanguage=ENGLISH&pMenuOption=oMenuPolicies)(currentpolicies), and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Policies. 6. Interested eligible bidders may view this advertisement on the Ministry of Health & Wellness website at www.moh.gov.jm. 7. Availability of Bid documents and Bid Submission: This is an online tender where tender documents (available at no cost to interested bidders), clarifications and bid submission will only be made available and accepted via the Government of Jamaica Electronic Portal – GOJEP (www.gojep.gov.jm). 8. Tender documents can be downloaded as of May 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., local time. 9. Clarification period for queries and responses closes – June 16, 2023, no later than 5:00 p.m., local time. 10. Bids must be submitted electronically on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement system (GOJEP) as directed on the GOJEP platform by 1:00 PM, June 30, 2023. Late bids will be rejected. 11. Bids will be opened on-line at 1:15pm June 30, 2023. Bidders are therefore urged to commence bid upload at least two (2) hours prior to the submission time. The Procuring Entity will not be held liable for bids not submitted on time due to late commencement of bid upload.
