a) Construction of 1.65m high RC Weir at Munyu area across river Ndarugu
b) Construction of 4.2km of DN500mm Raw Water Pipeline
c) Construction of a conventional Munyu Water Treatment Works 6,600 m3 /day
d) Construction of 120km of water pipelines of various diameters
e) Construction of Water Storage Tanks of various capacities
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of KES 1,000.00. The method of payment will be cash or Banker’s Cheque. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge. Documents can also be downloaded from the AWWDA website: www.awwda.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke, Bidders who download the bidding document from the website MUST forward their particulars immediately to procurement@awwda.go.ke, for records and any further clarifications and addenda.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00am East African Time on 2 nd June, 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 10.05am East African Time on 2 nd June, 2023.
A Pre-Bid meeting shall take place on 4 th May, 2023 at 08:00am EAT and will be at the Athi Water Works Development Agency Offices, Athi Water Plaza, Muthaiga North Road.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of KES. 2,600,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Two Million, Six Hundred Thousand Only) in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee. with tender notice no.
