Scope of Services:
The Consultant is expected to do the following tasks:
i. Conduct background checks on the shortlisted GoGettaz and Pitch AgriHack shortlisted
applicants.
ii. Review and analysis of open-source information on the shortlisted applicants.
iii. Review the competition process certifying its transparency.
iv. Provide reports of these in the agreed format and within agreed time limits
v. Draft a report on the findings of due diligence process for consideration.
vi. Any other duties related to the due diligence process as instructed by the Supervisor
Deliverables:
The consultant will be expected to deliver the following outputs:
i. Background checks of the applicants which will entail:
a) Verification and proof of the entity’s legal registration with relevant authorities
for shortlisted applicants
b) Confirmation of operation of business
c) Confirmation of physical presence in the registered country where applicable
i. Review the competition process – shortlisting, reviewing and award.
