United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for Eastern Africa (UNODC ROEA) hereby solicits Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested vendors for rental of storage space for safe-keeping of UNODC ROEA equipment and materials in Nairobi, Kenya.
2.The specification of the storage space are as follows:
• The premises should preferably be a standalone storage container with strength suitable to withstand shipment/ transportation, storage, and handling.
• At least three (3) storage containers are required, with the following dimensions: each should be 40-ft-long [12 metres] steel boxes.
• The storage containers should be the reusable steel boxes used for intermodal shipments and not the ubiquitous corrugated boxes.
• Internally, the storage container should be a pallet-wide container. A tunnel container (tunnel-tainer) design if available, is prefered.
• The storage containers should each have a well installed metal ramp at the entrance.
• The location of should be within a radius of not more than 2 kilometres from the UN Complex in Gigiri Nairobi, Kenya.
3. The lease duaration is for a period of 2 years with a possiblity of extension for a period of 2 years.
4.Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) to martin.musambai@un.org with a copy to racheal.asiimwe@un.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line.
5. The EOI, clearly marked “Expression of Interest – "Provision of Storage Space for Storing UNODC ROEA Materials in Nairobi, Kenya" must be received by UNODC no later than 23h59 Nairobi local time (GMT+3) on Friday 28 April 2023. with tender notice no.
