Deadline: 17-Apr-2023 00:00 0.00 1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the provision of contract for the Periodical Maintenance and Repair of Existing Road Blockers at UNAMI Facility, Kheitan, Kuwait for the initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for two (2) additional periods of one year at a time, under the same terms and conditions' subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds and continuation of UNAMI mandate. The envisaged contract will be awarded to the proposer that clearly demonstrates through a written proposal a high degree of experience, ability, competency and best-practice in these services. 1.1. Two main tasks will be included in the proposed contract: (a) first task is for the periodical maintenance of the existing two Road Blockers, which covers all routine and preventive maintenance works; and (b) second task is for the repair on break down, whenever required or requested including all spare parts needed. 1.2 The works include the supply of all materials, fixtures, fittings, equipment and labour necessary for the completion of the services required. After a complete site investigation, the vendor is requested to submit a firm fixed priced proposal for the services he proposes to present according to the contract. 2.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNGM Registration at level 1 or above. 3.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
