May 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture Remuneration range: 5000 to 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: May 2023 till September 30, 2023 Tasks & Details: Developing a guide to sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices of wheat & cereals Assessing implementing partners’ agricultural marketing expertise and supporting them in designing a program that aims to strengthen local farmers and producers’ capacities. Supporting implementing partners in the development of technical support programs (based on GAP, GMP, and GHP) for farmers and agro food processors. Supporting with the monitoring the agricultural tests (Soil test, pesticide residue test, etc.) Supporting the design and oversee the implementation of the incubator and fumigation center and its production system. Defining a set of livelihood interventions for the project beneficiaries (producers/farmers/processors) Providing technical support for our implementing partners in the development and implementation of the cooperative-business and technical support program. Support in the design and monitor the assessments to be conducted by partners in the target areas. Provide continuous technical assistance to partner organizations to improve production (both qualitative and quantitative), post-harvesting and processing techniques. Support partner organization to improve the business skills of targeted value chain producers as per project design. Support in the design and implementation of any assessment for the related value chains. Supporting in reviewing the economic impact of the programme. Preparing appropriate reports and presentations.
