RFQ issuing date 06/07/2023 Deadline to receive inquiries 13/07/2023 Deadline for receiving proposals 20/07/2023 The American University of Beirut (hereinafter referred to as “AUB”) (http://www.aub.edu.lb ) is an educational not-forprofit corporation established under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A., including a Campus and a Medical Center, in Beirut, Lebanon, and an office in the U.S.A., in New York (NY), U.S.A. AUB serves over 12000+ users. It consists of more than 4,500 faculty and staff and has an enrollment of approximately 9,102 students, more than 1,200 of whom reside on Campus. Additionally, AUB’s medical center (AUBMC) is currently attesting to its superior standards in patient-centered care, nursing, and pathology/laboratory services. With a highly skilled and trained team of over 2,300 members and over 300,000 patient visits throughout the past year, AUBMC is committed to improving the delivery of health care in Lebanon and the region. Scope of Work 2. Scope AUB is requesting proposals from qualified suppliers for the provision of printing Digital Business Cards. • The digital cards should be compatible with NFC readers allowing the user to share contact details, save them directly to their phonebook, as well as exchange them • The digital business card should also have a QR Code to be scanned for devices that are not NFC readers • The information present in the digital cards can be amended and changed • The information added could be in both Languages – English & Arabic • The fields to add info should not be limited to a certain number • The Digital Card should be printed – AUB COLOR & logo – without personal info printed on the card • We can re-use the card in case the person holding it stopped working or had a change of title or information • Encryption: encryption should be applied to protect the data from unauthorized access to ensure information confidentiality • Anti-virus and Anti-malware Protection: Ensure that the device used to create and distribute digital business cards have up-to-date anti-virus and anti-malware software to mitigate the risk of data breaches or malicious attacks • Secure Transmission: If the digital business card is shared electronically, secure cloud storage platforms to protect the information during transit. • Keep the digital business card up to date by reviewing and revising the information periodically, ensuring accuracy and relevance. • The system should be fully GDPR compliant • The system should allow for soft digital business cards through a mobile application • The system should allow integration with web SSOs supporting SAML and OIDC authentication. • The system should be compliant with Identity and Access Management for provisioning of users. • The system should ship with a modern API layer that exposes endpoints for all the core activities. • The system should be able to use API connectors to read person metadata. • The system should allow for different templates of business cards for different user categories. • Please refer to the HECVAT assessment toolkit IN Appendix B to be filled out • Required to be SAAS model
