Tenders are invited for Therapy through Art Trainer. Closing Date: Thursday, 11. May 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Gender issues Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 1 Month Position: Therapy Through Art Trainer Requirement: Art Location of implementation: Tripoli, Aley, and Zahle regions Duration of assignment: 1Month About ABAAD ABAAD– Resource Center for Gender Equality is a UN ECOSOC accredited organization that aims to achieve gender equality as an essential condition to sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region. ABAAD advocates for the development and implementation of policies and laws that enhance women’s effective participation, through a rights-based approach that would bring about tangible change to gender justice. With the purpose of ending gender-based violence, ABAAD adopts a holistic care approach to provide protection and support services to GBV survivors/right holders during times of peace, war and disasters since 2011. About the project ABAAD is implementing a 14.5-months project funded by Diakonie, that aims at improving access of women and girl survivors of and/or at-risk of GBV to holistic prevention and response services in Lebanon’s North (Tripoli), Bekaa (Baalbek), and Mount Lebanon regions. The project will include a certain number of awareness material to be distributed to the beneficiaries. Overall goal of this assignment The overall goal of this assignment is to provide therapy through art classes in ABAAD MWHs in 3 areas in Lebanon. Duties and Responsibilities Preparing and leading the training consisting of 36 sessions in total divided equally for the 3 locations (12 sessions per location / 1.5 hours per session) Purchasing of materials/tools needed for the training (list of proposed material to be shared along with cost) Sharing with the project team the set session schedule that will describe the main objective of each session and include a brief on what will be taught in each session; Sharing with the project team the relevant training tools, materials, and methodology to be used during the sessions via technical proposal to ensure these are culturally sensitive to the targeted population; Providing progress reports inclusive of attendance sheets and to provide support in the application of the quality assurance procedures on a monthly basis in close coordination with the project team mainly the project coordinator – through: assessing the satisfaction of targeted beneficiaries using the satisfaction survey, facilitating complaint mechanism procedures through informing the targeted population of the complaint cycle procedures, assessing impact of the provided activities through using MEAL tools, such as pre-post-tests, evaluation forms, etc. Skills required Previous experience in the development sectors (such as in livelihood, protection, education etc.) is a plus, especially start-up and small community-based organizations. preferable to have GBV background, if not, at least an experience in providing PSS activities Proven experience as a trainer, previous experience in therapy through art training is a plus (to provide previous contracts, purchase orders, certificates of completion) Working experience with local or international NGOs.
