Tenders are invited for Trainer for a Workshop in Graphic Design. Closing Date: Monday, 03. Jul 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Conflict Resolution, Peace & Security, Rehabilitation Summary: MARCH is seeking a talented and creative graphic designer with a bachelor degree in Graphic Design and a minimum of 5 years of experience to conduct a workshop in Tripoli to teach Graphic Design for a group of youth and that consists of 12 to 14 sessions (4 hours/session) from July till September 2023. The workshop should cover teaching basic tools of graphic design and instructional design processes for a group of underprivileged youths from marginalized areas lacking pre-requisites in this field. (Proposal that doesn’t include a portfolio will be disregarded) Description: This workshop is part of continuous vocational training activities provided by March under its larger program focused on conflict transformation and reintegration of marginalized youth from Jabal Mohsen and Beb El Tebbeneh. Responsibilities: The trainer should be able to provide participants in the workshop with the following: Basics of Graphic design applications (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) Ability to create visual text and imagery concepts by hand or with the help of computer software Ability to design graphics to meet specific promotional and commercial needs like logos, packaging, displays, or imagery for digital and printable products knowledge on how images and text work to fit a specific layout and size. How to amend designs based on stakeholder requirements Upskill to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies Qualifications: - Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity. - Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). - Solid understanding of branding principles and the ability to translate them into visually compelling designs. - Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within brand guidelines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience in designing for non-profit organizations or donor-funded projects would be an asset. - Experience in teaching Graphic Design Requirement and Qualifications Bachelor degree in Graphic Design 5-7 years of experience and above Experience in teaching Graphic Design Presents a strong portfolio of illustration or other graphics Familiarity with design software (Indesign, illustrator, photoshop etc.…) Ability methodically and meet deadlines Previous experience working with NGOs is a plusP How to apply Proposal Submission Process: - Updated resume highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications. - Portfolio showcasing your design work, specifically emphasizing your branding projects.
