Berytech, in the context of TRANSDAIRY, an EU-funded project under the ENI CBC Med program, has launched the call for experts specialized in monitoring, evaluation and data analysis.
*A living lab is an ecosystem that fosters open innovation in real-life environments aiming at creating sustainable impact. It focuses on co-creation, rapid prototyping, testing, and scaling up innovations & businesses, providing (different types of) joint value to the involved stakeholders. The living labs adopts the quadruple-helix approach involving citizens, research organizations, companies, and government agencies
Transdairy is a project to enhance the technology transfer among research, industry, and SMEs in the fields of Key Enabling Technologies (KET) applied to the Dairy Value Chain (DVC), through the creation of Living Labs, the increase of institutional capacities by giving specialized trainings and by the development of market intelligence for sustainable and consolidated spin-offs. TRANSDAIRY will provide new tools and techniques for a more efficient and sustainable DVC, which will decrease delivery times, waste, and logistic costs, increasing and improving the quality and safety of milk and dairy products.
SCOPE OF WORK AND REQUIREMENTS
Develop and implement grids and questionnaires to collect data from different beneficiaries who took part in the different activities organized under the Transdairy living lab (technology transfer training, entrepreneurship training, focus group, open days, brokerage events etc.).
Develop and implement a user’s satisfaction surveys for the different activities under the living labs.
Coordinate with one of the project startup beneficiaries to develop a business model for the startup to evaluate the project under the point of view of the technology transfer, economical & expected sales revenues, cost/benefits balance of new technologies in the local contexts, social outcomes, local externalities. (Template will be provided by Berytech).
Coordinate with one of the project startup beneficiaries to develop a Multiplier effect, scalability and sustainability analysis and new products and KETs Plan: to analyse the new products and Key Enabling Technology within the dairy value chain including an analysis of social, environmental, economic factors and issues, potential markets in the partners regions and beyond. (Template will be provided by Berytech).
Review and give recommendations on the handbook written by the project partners on the creation of the Transdairy living labs and provide an executive summary of it to be used as an example to set a living lab in Lebanon.
The outcome of this collaboration should be presented in the form of a report, with a proposal for best practices.
The services must be completed by 31/08/2023.
COORDINATION AND COMPLIMENTARY SUPPORT FROM BERYTECH:
The service provider is asked to share with Berytech the timeline, methodology, tools, and deliverables expected for validation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applications to this proposal can be from independent experts/consultants or a legal entity, from Lebanon.
The expert should have at least 5 years of experience in the monitoring and evaluation field, data collection, data analysis.
Effective communicator with any audience in an organized and professional manner
Use of tools and methods of the program to finalize the consultancy mission with the support of the beneficiary.
