This enables the project team to respond immediately in the event of acute malfunctions and minimize downtime. • Combined transport (Personnel and Equipment): For technical maintenance, we expect to regularly need to transport equipment to the platform. A crew tender from the Maasvlakte can usually carry these materials on the same voyage as the technicians. • Significant cost savings on labor and fuel hours: Sailing from Rotterdam leads to efficient fuel consumption and deployment of offshore personnel. • Nautical reliability: Sima Charters possesses a readily deployable fleet at the Maasvlakte that is fully aligned with the specific conditions surrounding the P18 location in terms of certification, draft, and operational readiness. Porthos is currently investigating the frequency and the people and objects to be transported. Therefore, the frequency and service level cannot yet be clearly defined. Consequently, Porthos intends to conclude an agreement for Crew Transfer Vessel services with SIMA Charters for a limited period to gain a clear understanding of the needs. Sima Charters is also based in Maassluis and Hoek van Holland. This gives them a unique position regarding response time. Porthos therefore believes that Sima is currently the only provider capable of supporting Porthos in this regard. The objective of the agreement is to gain a clear understanding of Porthos needs for a limited period of up to 1.5 years.
