In terms of the disaster risk management cycle, the services shall target the mitigation, preparedness and response phases, meaning that they should reduce vulnerability to disaster impacts and tackle either the readiness for/ before a disaster or the immediate action after a disaster has occurred. The purpose of the ITT is also aligned with the policy priorities that have been expressed in the Sendai Framework. One of these priorities, for instance, is the focus on investing in disaster risk reduction for resilience .The services proposed by the Contractor in the context of the present activitycan leverage on the integration of space-based data together with other datasets, such as aerial imagery (acquired for instance with Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems-RPAS), in-situ data and data from other sources (e.g. statistic, maps).
