Requirements Based on the research assignment as described above, the requirements below have been formulated. Without these requirements, the research cannot be carried out, taking into account the requirements placed on the research result. Below, it is explained for each requirement why it is necessary. 1. Required technical specification: Create reference spectra based on individual isolates. Necessity of the technical specification: This is necessary so that it is visible which isolate the sample most closely resembles. We must be able to expand the database with additional new reference spectra without having to delete or modify the old ones. 2. Required technical specification: Be able to use the .btmsp file format for reference spectra. Necessity of the technical specification: This is necessary so that a proper link remains with the current dataset and database. The current reference spectra cannot be used on systems that do not recognize the .btmsp file format.
