The assignment which involves providing support in improving the knowledge, attitude and practices of residencts of Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor LGAs towards hygiene, sanitation and solid waste management as well as hygiene and sanitation promotion services by way of developing sustainable and affordable solutions at city level and in low-income areas will include the following activities. • Develop KAP survey methodology (including a recommended sample size and sampling methodology) with clear indicators linking the survey to the performance framework of the Port Harcourt Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PHWSSP). • Train all data collectors and data entry personnel with pre-test and amendment of survey tools. • Make recommendations on appropriate interventions based on survey findings and context as well as stakeholders analyses. • Conduct activity implementation for hygiene and sanitation promotion campaign in Port Harcourt City and Obio/Akpor LGAs. • Directly oversee data collection, supervision and support data collection in the project area. • Supervise data entry, clean and analyze the data and produce a final report. The assignment shall be for a duration of 5 months. The Port Harcourt Water Corporation now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested service providers must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
