Making available the preliminary design to the SPIU safeguards team to enable timely preparation of safeguards instruments by the SPIU; iii. Carrying out necessary site investigations and surveys, designing structural elements of cross-drainage structures (bridges/culverts) on the forward or backward linkage/roads with an emphasis on achieving cost efficiency through a careful selection of the structures types, and attention to design details; iv. Conducting stakeholder consultations in order to inform the ALC design process from technical, social, and environmental perspectives; preparing detailed designs of the ALCs, which will be based on the conceptual design process, and help SPIU in implementing ALCs (stakeholder consultations on environmental and social aspects which shall be coordinated by the SPIU safeguard officers) The Kaduna State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) now invite eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. 1. The shortlisting criteria are: Satisfactory experience of the firm in preparation/review of standard documents such as; detailed engineering design standards, social and environmental safeguards documents, procurement support services, project management support, construction supervision of physical works and monitoring, technical specifications of ALCs or similar projects; 2. Demonstration of effective organizations/managerial structures and availability of suitably experienced and qualified key personnel relevant to the assignment. 3. All interested firms are to submit the following documents: • Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) • Evidence of Company’s current tax clearance certificate for the last “three (3) years (2020, 2021 and 2022); • Company audited account for the last three (3) years (2020, 2021 and 2022) duly stamped • Well detailed company profile with managerial and technical structures, office address and functional contact details • For joint venture, memorandum of understanding must be attached. 4. Verifiable records establishing evidence of experience in design and supervision consultancy services for improvement of existing Agro-Logistics centers of up to 10 references or more similar assignments; 5. Evidence of similar experience supported under multilateral donor Agency like The World Bank, AFD, AFDB etc in the previous 10 years 6. Evidence of firm’s/Consortium regional work experience in similar field within Nigeria and a sub Saharan Africa. The attention of interested consultants is drawn to section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16 and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Fourth edition Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. with tender notice no.
