In the last year; federal and provincial education departments have committed to improving foundational reading levels across the country; and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has set up a Foundational Learning Hub to support this commitment. The World Bank is supporting improvements in foundational reading levels across the country. The EoI is for the services of a consulting firm to (i) to develop and implement provincial foundational reading roadmaps and (ii) support the development of provincial and federal foundational learning policies. The selected consulting firm is expected to work closely with the Foundational Learning Hub and foundational learning focal persons appointed by provincial education departments; and coordinate delivery with senior provincial and federal education officials.
The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000.
