PFU is also partnering with Oxfam to implement another project titled DGD funded (Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid ) titled Women, youth and other SSPs increase benefits in the fresh vegetable value chain as change agents” with 3 partners: Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committee (PARC), Rural Women Development Society (RWDS) and Palestinian Farmers’ Union (PFU) to make the fresh vegetable value chain more inclusive, fair and sustainable. The purpose of this consultancy is to develop a Market Price Index app that will gather fresh vegetable prices from multiple markets across the West Bank, analyze the data to identify trends and patterns and present the information in a user-friendly format for farmers, traders, and consumers. Additionally, the app may include features such as alerts for price changes, and market news and analysis. Scope of work: Develop a Market Price Index app with the capacity to update daily vegetable prices from 11 different markets, and maintain historical data. Allow access to different editors, each responsible for providing daily information about the prices from their respective markets. Those editors will be registered in their specific markets and will only have access to edit for one of the markets. Uploading the price data, and promoting the app to ensure widespread adoption and usage. Provide historical information for vegetable price fluctuation over different periods and different markets (this will be for two or more different types of users). Monitoring the Systems and the APP and fixing any bugs that may occur. Simplicity for the user. Convenient user interface/user-friendly interface. Must adhere to platform-specific UI standards provided by Apple and Google respectively. Multi Operating Systems: Native apps for iOS and Android platforms are required. Administration Panel: A web admin panel with options to manage the Apps data must be developed using latest combination of technologies. Good performance/Loading Speed. Speed of loading mustn't keep users waiting. Offline Access. Once data of any district downloaded/checked from this app must be available to the user offline afterward. It must open to everyone and engage users into mutual communication. Users should be able to leave suggestions, rates, and reviews. It must have a system of search and filters. Connectivity with other websites are applicable in case needed. Application must provide all features and content in Arabic Technologies: service provider must provide details of tools and technologies to be used and why the chosen combination is best suited for the said project. The service provider must consider platform, security and usability while proposing a solution. Execution Plan & Deliverables: The service provider must provide a detailed execution plan with deliverables list and strict timeline.
