The project aims to enhance resilience, alleviate suffering and maintain the human dignity of the most vulnerable Palestinians experiencing the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip by building, protecting productive assets and restoring or creating income-generating opportunities to save and sustain lives and achieve a greater level of resilience in selected locations of the Gaza Strip. As part of this project, MA'AN will undertake a set of activities that aim at supporting the self-reliance of affected households by strengthening the economic resilience of a group of vulnerable people who do not have access to livelihood resources through a comprehensive intervention plan including economic empowerment through E-voucher supporting their access to basic food needs and Small Income Generation Activities (IGAs) for 60 families in Bit Lahia. MA'AN will also support 20 families from Rafah and Khan Younis who already have existing IGAs with 20 families with livelihood support interventions (inputs and productive assets) to maintain the sustainability of their sources of income. MA'AN is looking for a registered qualified consultancy firm to provide coaching services for 60 women GBV survivors from Bit Lahia who will have supported to establish small-scale income generation projects and 20 women GBV survivors from Rafah and Khan Younis who already own IGAs affected by the prolonged economic crisis/COVID-19 pandemic implications or/and the last escalation of hospitalities on the Gaza Strip.
