An Advance Contracting Notice for MRT-4 was published on 21 February 2023 and updated on 23 March 2023 (https://www.adb.org/sites/default/files/tenders/phi53172-mrt4-aa-rev.pdf) The Department of Transportation (“DOTr”) is launching a market engagement exercise for the Civil Works (CW) and Railway Systems and Trains (RS&T) components of the project which are under consideration for co-financing by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). As part of this exercise, DOTr invites prospective contractors, manufacturers and suppliers for the CW and RS&T components of the project to participate in a Market Survey and Market Engagement Conferences for the MRT-4 Project. It is anticipated that the Market Engagement Conferences will be conducted on 04 May 2023 at ADB Headquarters, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Objectives: The Market Engagement Conference and Market Survey, aim to initiate dialogue between DOTr and the prospective contractors, manufacturers and suppliers regarding the Project Scope, Proposed Contract Packaging, Specifications, Financing, Procurement Guidelines and Processes, and Schedule.
