The area of ​​the City of Łuków is 35.75 km2 (3,575 ha). The citys population as of December 31, 2024, was 27,094. The City of Łuków is characterized by a negative population growth rate. 4.6. After analyzing the real estate in the City of Łuków, the estimated number of residents as of December 31, 2025, was 25,392, of whom approximately 46% live in single-family homes, the remaining approximately 54% live in multi-family homes. 4.7. Number of properties: 1) estimated number of inhabited single-family properties: approximately 4,250, 2) number of multi-family buildings: approximately 183 blocks, 3) estimated number of properties not inhabited by residents but generating municipal waste: approximately 850. 4.8.
