Construction of a swimming pool in Piekary Śląskie

The Piekary Śląskie Municipal Council in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for 1. The subject of the contract is the construction of a complete indoor sports pool with eight 25-meter swimming lanes, along with an additional, separated shallow pool area equipped with children's play equipment. The sports pool will be equipped with a movable floor for two swimming lanes, separated from the rest of the pool by a movable partition. The contract also includes the necessary remaining infrastructure of the pool building, in particular: sports, locker rooms, sanitary, communication, technical, technological, storage, social, changing rooms and pool facilities (level -1: basement, pool technology, technical and technological facilities, sub-pool hall, rooms, technical and technological installations and equipment, social rooms; level 0: pool hall, sanitary, locker room, entrance, sports, social areas; level +1: technical area, administration; level +2: roof, renewable energy sources). The building will be equipped with the necessary installations and facilities, in particular: sanitary, electrical, water and sewage, ventilation, low-current, BMS, fire protection, process, swimming pool technology, lighting, evacuation, technical, and renewable energy sources. The task also includes the necessary landscaping, in particular parking lots, sidewalks, access roads, communication, utilities, connections, installations, devices, small architecture, green areas, and other necessary technical and associated infrastructure. 2. The contracting authority has included accessibility requirements for disabled persons in the description of the subject of the contract, which constitutes Appendix 7 to the draft terms of reference. 4. Due to the lump-sum nature of the settlement, the description of the subject of the contract does not include a bill of quantities. 5. The contractor may subcontract part of the contract. 6. The contractor will be obligated to provide at least a 5-year warranty and guarantee for the entire subject of the contract, counted from the date of fault-free acceptance of the entire subject of the contract. 7. Such artificial division would require the separation of a coherent whole into a large construction project covering a single development area and a single function. The contracting authority has received a Preliminary Commitment for the investment covering the entire subject of the contract. If the contract is divided into lots and one of them fails, the contracting authority would risk losing funding for the entire contract. The subject of the contract is the construction of a new facility,Dividing the contract into parts for such an undertaking would create difficulties in coordinating the activities of various contractors and could significantly increase contract execution costs. This division would jeopardize achieving the final result within the agreed completion date due to the allocation of responsibilities among various contractors. Furthermore, the construction of a new facility as a result of the contract is a condition for obtaining an occupancy permit. The subject of the contract constitutes a unified whole in technical, technological, qualitative, and organizational terms. 9.
