The State Treasury State Forest Holding State Forests Hajnówka Forest District in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of the order is the delivery, i.e. the transfer of ownership of feed for winter feeding of bison to the Ordering Party, along with its distribution and placement in locations indicated by the Ordering Party in 2026 and 2027. Deliveries will take place successively in the period: from the date of signing the contract to March 31, 2027. The subject of the delivery (sale) is: Fodder beets – 35 tons; Hay bales – 85 tons; Hay silage – 14 tons; Salt cubes with minerals for wild animals for licks – 1 ton. During the winter feeding period under the order, the Contractor is obliged to provide, store and place out the feed itself in the following quantities: fodder beets – 35 tons from this year’s harvest, healthy, free of mechanical impurities, cleaned of foliage, roots and soil; Hay bales (a single bale with an average weight of approximately 250 kg) – 85 tons from this years harvest, of very good quality, with a moisture content not exceeding 15%, free of mechanical impurities, and free of mold. Hay must be free of any characteristics such as a musty or rotten odor, soil, straw, or manure residue. Hay from the first cut is preferred. Hay should be stacked loosely; haylage – 14 tons from this years harvest, made from dried grass; and selenium salt cubes for licks (10 kg cubes) – 1 ton. Feed will be distributed and placed at least once a week during the order period, to locations designated by the customer. The quantity, type, and location of the feed will also be determined on a case-by-case basis. The need for feed distribution and placement will be notified by the Client in writing, by phone, or by email to the email address provided by the Contractor. The distribution and placement of feed, as well as the amount thereof, will depend on weather conditions and the animals intake. The Contractor is obligated to check the stockpile levels at least once a week, replenish them as needed, and ensure the availability of feed for the animals (shifting or scooping as needed). The Contractor should maintain the surroundings of feeding areas and perform minor repairs to stockpiles damaged by bison use (e.g., nailing down boards, poles, etc.). with tender notice no. 716482-2026 published on 16 Oct 2026.
