Mutual provision of railway transport services between Koleje Wielkopolskie sp. z o. o. and POLREGIO SA

The Koleje Wielkopolskie sp. z o.o. in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for 1. The subject of the contract is the provision of rail transport services on trains operated by Koleje Wielkopolskie sp. z o. o. and POLREGIO SA, along with the settlement of revenue generated from this service, generated at points of sale and on devices simultaneously displaying offers from both Parties. 2. POLREGIO will, on its own behalf, conclude contracts for the transport of passengers, goods, and animals, which, depending on the route network, will be performed in whole or in part by KW, acting as a subcontractor. Proof of conclusion of the transport contract will be a relevant ticket issued or legalized by POLREGIO, respectively, at a ticket office, ticket machine, by train staff using mobile terminals, or manually. The transport contracts will cover journeys on Koleje Wielkopolskie trains based on single tickets, season tickets, special offers, network tickets, or other offers implemented during the contract term. The subject of the contract also includes the transport of items, bicycles, and dogs taken by passengers onto Koleje Wielkopolskie trains and transported under the passengers care in accordance with the rules adopted in Koleje Wielkopolskies transport regulations. The subject of the contract also includes the sale of tickets for rail journeys operated by Koleje Wielkopolskie sp. z o. o. 3. KW will conclude contracts for the transport of passengers, items, and animals on its own behalf, which, depending on the route network, will be performed in whole or in part by POLREGIO, acting as a subcontractor. Proof of conclusion of the transport contract will be a relevant ticket issued or legalized by KW, respectively, at the ticket office, ticket machine, by train staff using mobile terminals, or manually. Transport contracts will cover journeys on POLREGIO trains based on single tickets, tourist tickets, tickets for a surcharge for transferring to higher-fare trains, periodic section tickets, special offers, network tickets, or other offers implemented during the contract term. 4. The award of the contract will enable the fulfilment of the obligation arising from Regulation (EC) 2021/782 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2021 on the rights and obligations of rail passengers to increase the availability of ticket sales and comprehensive information provided to passengers on the move. with tender notice no. 709457-2026 published on 14 Oct 2026.
