Providing municipal waste collection and management services from property owners in the city of Tychy

The Gmina Miasto Tychy in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of the contract is a service consisting in the collection and management of municipal waste from property owners in the city of Tychy. The material scope of the contract includes, among others: a) collection of municipal waste from owners of residential and uninhabited properties located in the city of Tychy, owners of properties with a summer cottage or other property used for recreational and leisure purposes, and properties partially residential and partially uninhabited where municipal waste is generated (hereinafter referred to as mixed properties); b) management of municipal waste collected from the entities referred to in letter a) in accordance with the requirements specified in the detailed description of the subject of the contract; c) equipping single-family residential properties with containers for municipal waste remaining after segregation (mixed waste) and bags for collecting selectively collected waste (paper, plastics and metals, glass, and biodegradable waste, i.e. green waste and kitchen waste); d) equipping residential properties in multi-family buildings with containers for municipal waste remaining after segregation (mixed waste) and waste collected in a selective manner (paper, plastics and metals, glass, kitchen waste) as well as bags for green waste from maintaining home gardens; e) equipping residential properties with containers or bags for ash from home fireplaces; f) installing specialized containers for batteries and accumulators and collecting the waste collected in them; g) installing specialized containers for expired medicines, divided into liquid and other types, and collecting the waste collected in them; h) carrying out waste collection in the form of Christmas trees from residential buildings; i) organizing three mobile collections of furniture and other bulky waste as well as used electrical and electronic equipment from residential single-family buildings; j) informing the Ordering Party each time the entities referred to in point (a) fail to comply with the requirements set out in point (b). a) the obligation to selectively collect municipal waste and to dispose of this waste as mixed waste, while simultaneously informing the property owner of any irregularities identified – the principles and procedures for such cases are specified in the detailed description of the subject matter of the contract; k) submission of reports on the implementation of the contract; l) participation in educational and information campaigns organized by the Ordering Party regarding the proper handling of municipal waste, in the manner specified in Chapter XI of the description of the subject matter of the contract.
