Tender Summary
The Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of the order is the purchase of a set of tracking laser interferometers. Minimum metrological and functional requirements of the system 1. Requirements for measurement equipment a. The system must consist of at least four tracking laser interferometers capable of operating in a multilateration system. b. Each interferometer must perform length measurement based on laser interferometry, providing a direct reference to the wavelength of light. c. The length measurement resolution must be no worse than 1 nm. d. The system must enable measurements in a spatial volume with a range of at least 20 meters. The mass of a single interferometer must not exceed 10 kg, which allows for mobile system configuration and flexible arrangement within the measurement space, as well as mounting on existing CMM structures. f. The interferometers must be equipped with active tracking systems (tracking heads) enabling automatic tracking of the measuring reflector. 2. System Functional Requirements: a. The system must enable continuous tracking of the measuring reflector in three-dimensional space, regardless of its direction of movement (while maintaining the reflector's orientation towards the interferometer). b. The system must enable dynamic measurements in On-The-Fly mode, allowing the determination of point coordinates during movement. c. The system must enable operation in a redundant (multilaterative) configuration and the solving of systems of overdetermined equations. d. The system must enable the determination of point coordinates in space based solely on length measurements, without the use of angular measurements. e. The system must be compatible with coordinate measuring machines, in particular PMM class (e.g., Hexagon/Leitz – owned by the Ordering Party), enabling the implementation of calibration and verification procedures. f. The system must enable use in research on the positioning accuracy of machines, industrial robots, and other mechatronic systems. 3. Software and data processing requirements: a. The system must be equipped with software capable of determining 3D coordinates in real time based on data from at least four interferometers. b. The software must enable the integration of measurement data and support for multilateration algorithms, including numerical methods (e.g., least squares). c. The system must enable data export to external metrology systems and integration with measurement analysis software. d. Online operation (real-time coupling) or, alternatively, semi-automatic operation using automatic batch data processing is preferred. e. The software must enable analysis of measurement data quality, including uncertainty assessment and error identification. 4. Extended metrology and application requirements: a.The system must ensure full metrological traceability to the SI system of units through the use of laser interferometry. b. The system must enable the identification and compensation of environmental influences such as temperature, pressure, and humidity. c. The system must support the calibration, verification, and accuracy monitoring of various types of coordinate measurement systems. d. The system must support the use of wide-angle reflectors (e.g., up to ~160°), ensuring stable tracking in large measurement volumes. e. The system must enable the conduct of measurement uncertainty studies and the validation of metrological models. with tender notice no. 692670-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
