Renovation of the water main in Chełmicka Street in Włocławek

The Municipal Water and Sewage Company Sp. z o. o. in Włocławek in Poland from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of this contract is the design and execution of construction and assembly works for the modernization of the existing water main on Chełmicka Street (from Lipnowska Street to the Water Intake/Zawiśle Water Treatment Plant) in Włocławek, including the reconstruction, replacement and installation of fittings and water supply nodes, as well as the reconstruction of the surface after the completed works and all works accompanying the reconstruction of the said infrastructure, in accordance with the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract constituting Volume III of the Specification of Terms of Reference (SWZ) of the aforementioned tender. Comprehensive implementation of the subject matter of the contract also includes all ancillary and accompanying works necessary for the proper execution of the works, i.e. organization and securing of the construction site, and all preparatory and cleanup works, including tidying up the area after construction completion and preparation of as-built documentation following the completion of the construction works. The total length of water pipes planned for modernization is approximately 0.35 km. The scope of work includes the modernization of ul. Chełmicka (from Lipnowska Street to the Zawiśle Water Intake/Water Treatment Plant) of the existing main water supply network, including the reconstruction, replacement, and installation of fittings and water supply nodes. Pipes and valves selected for modernization and replacement are located primarily in road areas. It is assumed that the main will be renovated using the trenchless method using loose-fit technology, including the necessary point-based excavations for the construction of valve nodes, pipe connections and reconnections, etc. The above contract will be implemented within the meaning of the Act of 7 July 1994 – Building Law, as the design and execution of construction works in accordance with the developed Functional-Utility Program (FUP), constituting Volume III of the Specification of Terms of Reference (SWZ) for the aforementioned tender. Under this contract, the Contractor will prepare, among other things, design documentation for the works notification or a building permit (if required), as well as technical execution documentation necessary to perform and complete the modernization works based on FUP guidelines. The Contractor will also be required to obtain all necessary permits, opinions, agreements, and approvals, etc., resulting from the documentation and work being performed, as well as applicable legal provisions.
