Scope of Work/Description
Carbon Off spec butts is generated as a waste at the Carbon Plant (420 tons per year). Carbon Off spec butts has contaminates of Sodium; but can be used in some specific industry when introduced systematically into the process. The vendor is required to pick up Carbon Off spec butts from pick up point in the Carbon Rodding Plant Area. 2. Loading shall be by the vendor using Qatalum free issue forklift. Vendor to provide licensed forklift driver. 3. Butts must be picked up on time to ensure that there is no backlog or stockpile created within Qatalum. 4. If the material is to be shipped outside Qatar; then the vendor is to ensure that the material is correctly packed for export. 5. Vendor must deliver final byproduct to the pre qualified end users (locally or outside Qatar). 6. All material taken out of Qatalum must be accounted for by detailed records of uplift/handling and final end user acceptance.
