EC will not respond to requests for clarifications sent after the deadline. The works related to the investment obj. "Modernization of the Caransebes - TM -Arad railway line" consist of the design and execution of the works in accordance with the legislation and technical regulations in force. The route of the railway section targeted for modernization related to Lot 1: Pr. and exe. works related to obj. investment project "Modernization of the railway line Caransebeș – TM – Arad, Lot 3 TM Est - Ronaț Triaj Gr.D": from km 568+399, of the CF Buc. – Jimbolia line (code 100), to the TM Nord station, after which it continues on the CF TM – Arad line (code 218) from km 0+000, to km 008+183 (the exit signal from Ronaț Triaj Gr. D). The length of the route is 13.86 km, from the entrance to head X of the Timisoara East station to the head Y signal, the future Ronaț Triaj branch. The route of the railway section targeted for modernization related to Lot 2: Pr. and exe. works related to ob. investment project "Modernization of the Caransebeș – TM – Arad railway line, Lot 4 Ronaț Triaj Gr. D – Arad": from km 008+183 (exit signal from Ronaț Triaj Gr. D) to km 56+350 (entry signal to Arad station). In addition to this section, also within lot 4, the project also includes the modernization/reconf. of the Aradu Nou – Glogovăț railway line (code 220), over a distance of approximately 7 km. The details below are common to both lots. On the existing route, the railway is simple, electrified, equipped with a BLA installation and is arranged both in fill with heights between 0 and 12 meters, and in cut-off with depths between 0 and 8 meters. The modernization project of the mentioned railway section includes: •Improving the geometry of the route and increasing the bearing capacity of the track to allow trains to run at speeds of up to 160 km/h; •Modernizing the stations and movement stops on this line, adapting their capacity, according to the volume of traffic and technological needs; •Modernizing the passenger station buildings, including the construction of walkways and raising the level of the platforms, in accordance with the European standards in force; •Replacing the double-junction crossings and crossings with single-track switches; •Doubling the line along its entire length; •Replacing bridges, footbridges, repairing the drainage system, improving the foundation soil and embankments; •Raising the level of the track and anti-erosion protection of the railway embankment in flood-prone areas; •Construction of maintenance roads along the railway (where public roads are not available); •Constr.of two maintenance buildings in the Caransebeş and TM Nord stations; •Installation of sound-absorbing panels and/or alternative solutions to reduce noise levels, on the cf segments that cross localities; •New electronic centralization installations, in stations and introduction of the ERTMS security system (ETCS level 2 + GSM-R); •Modernization of telecommunications equipment; •Replacement of contact line equipment and in electric traction substations, installation of a SCADA control system; •Installation of switch heaters on the receiving-dispatching lines, in stations, in movement stops and at branches, to combat the effects of snow on the cf line. SUSPENSIVE CLAUSE: The award procedure is carried out under the incidence of this suspensive clause, in the sense that the signing of the contract of pr. and ex. works will be done only after securing the source of financing. It is estimated that the period during which the suspensive clause applies is 12 months from the approval of the with tender notice no. 707946-2026 published on 14 Oct 2026.
