The RETELE ELECTRICE ROMANIA S.A. in Romania from Europe region has released this tender for The procurement of works 'MODERNIZATION OF 110/20 kV TRANSFORMER STATION BASARABI VOL. 1A – ELECTROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT HIGH VOLTAGE INSTALLATIONS' is necessary because the 110/20 kV Transformer Station Basarabi, under the management of the Dobrogea Operational Region / High Voltage Maintenance Dobrogea, in Constanța area, has an age of 57 years and supplies residential and industrial consumers in the Constanța municipality and several nearby localities. Over the course of these 57 years of operation, no modernization works have been carried out on the HV (110 kV) installations, all primary and secondary equipment have exceeded their lifespan, being both physically and morally worn out, which is why the modernization of the 110/20 kV transformer station is a necessity. These assets require replacement, modernization, and capacity expansion so that they can sustain current energy consumption levels and service quality standards, particularly in terms of service continuity and the energy delivery parameters imposed by ANRE. Interested economic operators may request clarifications or additional information until the 20th day before the deadline for submitting participation/offers, and the Contracting Entity will respond clearly and comprehensively to all clarification requests from economic operators until the deadline established – in accordance with Article 29 paragraph (3) of HG 394/2016. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to transmit two consolidated responses in accordance with the provisions of Article 172 paragraph (2) and Article 173 paragraph (1) of Law No. 99/2016, as follows: – a first consolidated response, transmitted no later than the 11th day before the initial deadline for submitting offers; – a second consolidated response, transmitted no later than the 11th day before the modified deadline for submitting offers, in the event that the offer submission deadline is extended, under the conditions of Article 163 of Law No. 99/2016. with tender notice no. 699872-2026 published on 09 Oct 2026.
