The Consiliul Judetean Arad in Romania from Europe region has released this tender for The project "Modernization of the road network in the northern area of ​​Arad County" aims to develop the economic sector of the northeastern area of ​​Arad County, taking into account that the existence of an adequate road infrastructure is the premise of economic and social development, attracting the active population, creating a friendly business environment for investors, being the necessary condition for increasing the degree of development of the county and the well-being of the population. The county road sections targeted by the project will also ensure easier access to health services, cultural activities and education located both in nearby cities and in the Municipality of Arad. It is also intended to facilitate access to the tourist part of the eastern part of the county (Moneasa Resort, Dezna Fortress) and the northeastern part of the county (Hășmaș tourist area - where tourist routes are established, Comănești village with its water mill and fishing pond, Agrișu Mic village where you can see a protected plant of Mediterranean origin, called "Chimpe"). In accordance with the provisions of OGR no. 43/1997 on the road regime, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions, the county road sectors subject to modernization are in the public property of Arad County through the Arad County Council, in which capacity it is obliged to maintain these road sectors in a technical condition suitable for safe traffic. Overall, the analyzed county road sectors do not comply with the provisions of the "Regulation on the establishment of technical quality requirements for roads related to user requirements", code NE021-2003 and the "Technical Instructions on determining the technical condition of public roads", code CD 155-2001, which is why urgent modernization works are required. In accordance with the provisions of art. 160 paragraph (1) of Law no. 98/2016, with subsequent amendments and completions, the deadline by which any interested economic operator has the right to request clarifications or additional information in relation to the award documentation is a maximum of 20 days before the deadline for submitting bids, and the deadline within which the contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information is the 12th day before the deadline for submitting bids according to Art. 161 of Law 98/2016. •The Contracting Authority reserves the right to make changes to the contract in accordance with the provisions of art. 221 of Law 98/2016, with subsequent amendments and supplements. with tender notice no. 676148-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
