The Municipiul Craiova in Romania from Europe region has released this tender for The contracting authority - Craiova Municipality intends to conclude a framework agreement for a period of 4 years to purchase playground equipment, fitness equipment, pull-up bar systems and shading systems (sails): Lot I: Playground equipment, Lot II: Fitness equipment, Lot III: Pull-up bars, Lot IV: Shading systems, according to the requirements of the specifications no. 248372 of 15.07.2026. The objective "Purchase of playground equipment, fitness equipment, pull-up bar systems and shading systems (sails) - framework agreement" aims to increase the level of education and socialization, but also the health of all young people, by practicing physical exercises and outdoor sports; revitalizing sports activities, developing sports activities in correlation with urban development programs, increasing the participation of youth in urban space in sports and leisure activities. The need to replace damaged playground equipment and those that no longer correspond from a technical and qualitative point of view and in terms of integration into the contemporary urban landscape has been identified. It is necessary to replace old playground equipment with technically and qualitatively appropriate equipment, as well as to supplement it with new ones in areas where they are insufficient, as well as to cover the surfaces with sails where the area allows, in order to satisfy the recreational needs of the target group for which they are intended, namely children and adolescents. By making this acquisition, the contracting authority wishes to resolve the numerous requests from citizens. The playground is necessary to create a conducive environment for stimulating imagination, sociability, physical development and motor coordination skills. It must integrate harmoniously into the urban landscape, be a place of relaxation for adults accompanying children. The minimum requirements for the requested products are presented in the specifications no. 248372 of 15.07.2026. The minimum and maximum quantities estimated for the duration of the Framework Agreement as well as for each subsequent contract, for each lot, are presented in Annex no. 1 (Lot I), Annex no. 2 (Lot II), Annex no. 3 (Lot III) and Annex no. 4 (Lot IV) to the specifications no. 248372 of 15.07.2026. These quantities represent estimates of the quantities that could be requested for the entire duration of the Framework Agreement, which may be lower, equal or higher than those estimated, depending on the needs of the contracting authority. The amendment of the Framework Agreement/public procurement contract, during its validity period, is made under the conditions provided for in art. 221 of Law no. 98/2016, with subsequent amendments and completions. The amendment of the Framework Agreement/public procurement contract during its validity period,other than in the cases and conditions provided for in art.221 of Law no.98/2016, as subsequently amended and supplemented, shall be carried out by organizing a new award procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
