Description of Responsibilities Key deliverables Produce 3minute short summary videos of the 60 girls in AGCCI. Document 1-3 minutes highlight story of the girls 5-7minute overall summary video documentary of the AGCCI to upload on UN Women Africa YouTube channel. Provide 30-50 select action photos of the trainees, participants and key partners including the launch and closing of AGCCI. Specific tasks: Produce a summarized documentary of AGCCI sourcing appropriate English narration as well as subtitles. Provide 10 edited and action photos for live tweeting and 30 more edited photos to the UN Women Communications Team. Select and provide high quality photos, 50 in total to upload on UN Women Flickr. Produce stories & testimonials of the 60 girls Notes: Footage must be delivered in internationally recognized file formats for distribution purposes to partners and donors. Dropbox or any other File sharing service is acceptable for sharing of footage for review purposes only. Mandatory inclusions: Government of Rwanda, UN Women, Siemens, AGCCI and African Union Duration of contract and Duty Station: The duration of the contract is 15 working days starting on 17 April and ending 28 April 2023 Company Qualifications Applications are sought from a suitably qualified company which presents a minimum of 2 professionals who have bachelors’ degree in journalism, communication, or B.A. degree in Visual Arts. The company must demonstrate at least 5 years of professional experience and track record in professional photography and videography evidenced by a substantial consultancy experience with a record of providing high-quality, creative, images for clients (at least 3 links as proofs of completed similar work from recent assignments (between 2019-2022). The technical proposal including the methods and timeline should be realistic. The Proof that the company has office, equipment’s and required services to produce the video. Ability to deliver within timelines provided. Ethical considerations The company should include statements in the proposal on how it will ensure ethics from the commencement of the assignment and during the field work. The company is expected to take consent of the respondents and/or children’s guardian before taking photographs and ask if their photographs, verbatim or case stories could be used in report and for public dissemination. Such consent must be documented and submitted to UN Women along with the final copy of the video. Terms of payment The company will get full payment upon receipt of all agreed audio-visual materials. Proprietary Rights The company shall not either during the term or after termination of the contract, disclose any proprietary or confidential information related to the service without prior written consent. Ownership of all video products shall rest with UN Women. How to apply Interested companies are requested to submit Technical and Financial proposals. Technical proposal should contain application letters, CVs, copies of academic credentials of at least 2 consultants as well as a technical proposal document including the client understanding of intended Scope of Work.
