J-Cap is Working in Selected Focus Countries/Regions, Currently: Serbia, Peru, Morocco, Kenya, the Waemu Region in Africa, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Vietnam. South Africa and Colombia are Supplementary Countries, Where J-Cap’S Activities are More Selective, and Less “Market-Wide”. A Recently Added J-Cap Country was Serbia. There, the J-Cap Serbia Diagnostic Mission Highlighted a Range of Issues Affecting the Serbian Financial System, Calling for J-Cap Action. Issues Include: (I) the Risk of Headwinds to Bank Lending (as Previously Noted) as Well as the Limited Availability of Long-Term Local Currency Loans; (Ii) Lack of Both with tender notice no. 0002001614 published on 09 May 2023.
