The THE WORLD BANK GROUP in Sierra Leone from African region had released this tender for Tenders are invited for Design of Intervention Strategy and Action Plan for Clean Cooking in Sierra Leone The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the World Bank team in developing a clean cooking intervention strategy which will inform the design of a new clean cooking operation under a forthcoming World Bank country investment project in Sierra Leone, as well as Sierra Leone’s National Clean Cooking Strategy currently under preparation. The assignment is expected to leverage the existing resources developed by the World Bank and other development partners. In particular, the World Bank has recently conducted a clean cooking market assessment, which synthesizes the key findings from (i) the Multi-Tier Framework (MTF) household survey; (ii) the market survey on cookstove and supply chain; and (iii) desk-based research and stakeholder consultations by the local consultant.
