Intelligent waste collection in the city of Liptovský Mikuláš

The subject of the contract is the delivery and implementation of a complex system for intelligent ZKO collection in the city of Liptovský Mikuláš. The aim of the solution is to ensure the technical, software and process prerequisites for the transition from flat fee collection to a quantitative collection system, based on the actual amount of ZKO produced. The system will technologically consist of dynamic weighing systems installed on collection vehicles, RFID identification chips assigned to containers, control units for operation monitoring and mobile terminals for recording containers. The delivery also includes a comprehensive software system including the Waste Collection IS, the Waste module compatible with the city IS, the connection with the Local Taxes and Fees module, as well as integration with the Waste Management Information System of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic and other external systems. The solution will be supplemented with services ensuring user training, design and implementation of integration interfaces, support for the citys data-analytical center and activities in the field of promotion, education and labeling of containers. The implementation of the project will enable a fairer and more targeted setting of the municipal waste fee system, an increase in the separation rate, a reduction in the volume of produced ZKO and the creation of a transparent, electronically controlled ZKO collection and management system.
