DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK The detailed scope will then include the following: The contractor is required to provide labour, equipment and material to carry out this task. Site clearing on the driveway, cut and remove all debris from site. Concrete, tar and paving blocks. Compact the soil compact to 90% of modified AASHTO. The excavation of topsoil to prepare for the casting of base slab. Place A142 wire mesh as per engineer’s specification. Cast-in-place 25 MPa concrete in four driveways Remove and demolish the existing tar surface in one driveway, prepare a sub base, apply binder and surface course then install a new asphalt surface then butt joint on the existing driveway. Then the entire surface must be smoothed and compacted. Remove existing paving blocks, re-do the sub base, compact and install new square concrete paving blocks. The contractor to make sure that the environment is protected at all time by ensuring no sewer spillages during construction. Proving of existing services ensuring no damages at all to the existing 110mm uPVC pipe, 160mm UG sewer pipe and electric cables. Quality control checking will be conducted on completion of the task.
